Realtors at a recent expo were approached by finance experts to join forces and combat the recent home mortgage crisis. They are hoping to not only work together, but the goal is helping homeowners and minimizing the damage that the crisis has caused. New homeowners are currently avoiding the market until they see signs of stability, and this continues to drive home mortgage numbers down.They wanted all homeowners to be aware that they are supportive of them and are currently assisting the FHA in trying to resolve the home mortgage crisis. According to Dick Gaylord, a RE/MAX broker and the NAR President, they care as much about the people who already own a home as much as they want to earn potential buyers.It is hopeful that the recent dialogue between Congress and other key administrators will help stabilize the market as well as reach out to aspiring and current homeowners. It is hoped that targeted efforts addressing the different variables of the home mortgage industry should help resolve a number of issues, else the taxpayer will once again feel it in his wallet.
